Im Joe, i play a number of instruments (accordion, banjo, bouzouki, mandolin, guitar, bass, whistles, learning piano) and enjoy playing anything from folk music, rock, most forms of metal and some classical.

I have a lovely girlfriend called Steph who i spend a lot of time with.

I love the xBox360 and spend my time on it divided between Call of Duty 4 and Gears of War (Gears 2 out november, now with added chainsaw combat functionality!!!). My gamertag is Zephyr190.

Im moving to Leeds in september to study Theoretical Physics for 4 years at the uni.

I play stargate wars under the name Khorest, and Kingdom of Loathing under the name Zephyr.

My blog is a cumulation for the proliferation of my favourite things, my music, my writing, my physics and my complaining. The word "Banjophonist" comes from there being no technical term for Banjo Player (i.e. Pianist, guitarist, flautist) and the word Saxophonist which is used to describe someone who plays Sax.

I do realise that my name is Joe and i play the Banjo, so dont point it out thinking you're clever. The really clever people know whats best for their kneecaps.
